Received sms today informing wef feb17, 0% IPP will not qualify as card transactions anymore and will not contribute to the min spend.

Actually can they changed this unilaterally? As all the while (for many many years alr) they themselves advertised that it qualify for rebates. Should they compensate/give us our rightful rebates for all IPP spend prior to Feb 17 then. Lets all petition!

Actually they can. Because they have given ample notice, and you have the option to opt out of UOB One. Any contact lawyer will tell you that advertisements do not equate to an offer. Their T&Cs would have covered themselves quite adequately if you do read.

What does smartpay mean? Does it includr paywave?

Smartpay is asking uob to convert the transaction into installment, usually incurring an admin fee.
