Thx. I wait till 1st April then.

Giro setup can take weeks. You can open account with $1000 first. Apply for relevant credit card in meantime if you don't have.

If scared, topup to 75k on 1 Apr after all ready.

I am looking to shift from Maybank to UOB One Account.

Is Income Tax/Property Tax Payment via GIRO considered as one GIRO transaction?
I read from previous pages that govt-related payment not considered as giro transaction for UOB?

Okay, ignore my above question (found the answer in one of the earlier pages)

Just to warn those who GIRO property tax (HDB). In my case, Nov and Dec each year there is no GIRO triggered. According to IRAS, it is because of min sum of $10 for GIRO. So they will spread to the number of mths where mthly is above $10. Look at your property tax GIRO schedule.

Fortunately for me, I kiasu and schedule 4 GIRO so still got my UOB One bonus interest.

Hello, not sure if anyone encounter any UOB One Account Giro issue so far?

My question is... my Citibank Credit Card payment is due on 12 March. My UOB One got Giro to pay this Citibank Credit Card Bill. Now is 11 March already and it haven’t pay the bill yet. I scare later I wait wait until kenna late payment.

In Feb, this Giro auto pay in 4 Feb. Now already 11 Mar also haven pay. Should I be worried? Should I just go login to UOB and pay instead of waiting for the Giro to autopay?
