take note the Govt's $100 utilities rebate has been credited

depending on your bill, may impact giro trigger

Hi may I know where to login to check? My SP water bill just generated on 26 June does not show such a credit. Thanks

Wah. You never check properly and still introduce to your friends.
I guess it should be around 2-3% bah.

Anyway, intro is one thing. Doesn't mean intro they must take. The choice is still up to them.

The banker is required to have appointment with them, explain to them

Bankers only tell people the good side. How come you don't know about the sales charge ? The banker did not tell you ?

I took it up. Saving around $1K per month. After 5 years, will stop deducting.

I Can choose to close it and then probably re invest or continue to let it earn interest

I also recommended this to a few of my friends who have some spare cash

May I know what is the yield?

Hi anyone apply StarHub payment giro before?

I submitted about 2 weeks ago till now still no status and when call in to UOB they said only when approve then they are able to see from their system.

They can’t check the status while it is in progress.

Is it true? Then how would I know my giro form is been submitted by StarHub to them?
Or the form is lost in between.

Can submit online via Starhub website, sign in to your Starhub portal and check on the pay bill site.

another way is to check your UOB account > Pay and Transfer > Upcoming Payments... see under GIRO to check when it's reflected there, then it'll be active. If not, advise you to pay by cash or online banking.

Anyway, even if you pay first and GIRO also deduct around the same time, the overpayment will become a credit into your telco account (for the subsequent month)… it might be a bummer but it happens sometimes for new GIRO applications...

Just look at the Starhub bill. If by GIRO it will show. Also, on the mobile app, if by GIRO it will show No bills to attend to for now". When click to see details, it will show GIRO payment. If don't these, pay.

be patient bro, the processing is done at the back-end... those CSOs won't know one. you can check on due date whether it's activated or not. but it's always safer to pay by cash/ibanking first, instead of assuming it'll be deducted by GIRO.

then if following month still no update on either the bill itself or in the banking portal, you can call in to complain bah.

You never read the notes on the Starhub GIRO form and start complaining just after 2 weeks.

The form says :

(1) It will take 4 to 6 weeks from the time that we receive your StarHub GIRO application form, process and send the form to your bank for final application

(2) Please continue to pay for your StarHub bill(s) using other StarHub accepted one-time payment modes until your GIRO application is in effect.

Just find it funny why backend they can’t see whether they receive the application forms or not.

What if it got lost halfway then I wait for nothing.

You understand what I mean?
