If u segregate the 4% 150k and the earmark promo, it is not confusing.

As long as u register before 30 Apr, the 50k should earmarked on 17 May and release to u on 17 Aug.
Just need to make sure the $50k incremental is above the March MAB.

just wondering, can those whose funds were earmarked for CNY savings promo (Q1) join this Big Savings promo ah? i.e. register and add another $50k.

the earmarked amount should be released mid-May (for me since I signed up in Jan).

i am trying to ask the cso. she say as long as within 1-31 may. i top up 50k from outside of uob. and the balance must be above march 2024 MAB. the fund must be in before 31st may and will be earmark on 28 June. and release on 16th sept.
so i register today. i have to put in 50k at least to qualify for 250. for the may window. once ear marked. the amount in the account can drop anytime. as long as dont drop below the 50k earmarked amount.

its still quite grey for me. as let say march is 104k average after confirming with them. anytime within this month. i put in money to 154k. to be safe maybe 155k. its ok to have the balance drop a few hundred until 31 may. June onwards balance not below 154k until june 28th for the ear mark to take place.

any expert can elaborate if ts wrong.

Regarding the cc spend , called the hotline. Hotline said keep spending today. If did not get the interest, then call hotline and appeal. So ok, keep spending today to hit cc $500
i once appeal before..... pointless tho.... the merchant took 8 days to post... spending was made on 23 apr a few years ago

Hi all, for your comments, thoughts or suggestions please. Thanks in advance!

To enjoy the new UOB One account (EIR 4% starting on 1/5/2024) + join the UOB Big Saving Payout promotion + optimise the deals, one has to:
  1. On 1/5/2024, maintain $100K - no action required.
  2. On 2/5/2024, top up $50K to an UOB One account. Register for the UOB Big Saving Payout promotion, indicating 50K as the earmark account.
  3. On 27/5/2024, top up another $10K. This is to ensure the MAB is $150K for the UOB One EIR 4%.
  4. On 1/6/2024, withdraw $10K and maintain $150K.

Note:
Prior to 1/5/2024, the account already has $100K.
For the UOB One EIR 4%, one has to spend $500 on the card + salary credit.
27th step i think not necessary...... unless your one account is very fluid.

Hi all, I did fresh funds transferred to my uob one today then I saw this Big Savings Payout Promotion..

Can I still register for it and UOB will still acknowledge or it's too late as UOB only acknowledge fresh funds after I successfully registered for the promotion?

Can you share how is this promo attractive? 4mth lock. Say 20k is 80. 12mth is 240. 240 for 20k is 1.2% p.a

just confirmed via UOB Chat Assist that can join this promotion even though my earmarked amount has not yet been released.

however, I'm still in a dilemma whether to join or to wait until Q3 promotion...

if don't do anything now:
May - 100k with UOB yields 3.375% while I push the other funds to HSBC EGA at 4.35%
June - Empty UOB and HSBC to ??? (no good alternative except eSaver but promo not out yet for June, realistically 3.4% at best? or 3.5% for Maybank iSavvy)
July - move 150k back to UOB to get 4% + hopefully some bonus (around $1000?) from Q3 savings promo and rejoin EGA at new cycle for the balance (hopefully 4.xx%)

if join this savings promo now:
May - top up 50k to get 4% + $250 and park the rest at EGA at 4.35%
June - cannot move any funds in UOB (so still 4%) and move EGA to alternative (eSaver, or iSavvy)
July - cannot join Q3 promo but still get 4% and rejoin EGA at new cycle (hopefully 4.xx%)

which one would you guys pick?

UOB can purposely change the transfer in date?

I transfer my funds from Trust to UOB One in 1th of May, 1am+.

Like this how? I need to top up more balance for UOB for the 1th May?
