So if u like me very scared will confuse between calendar mth and statement period, just call in and request to change one card period to calendar mth

not sure if they allow statement date to fall on 29,30,31 since not every month had these dates. 1-28th every month sure have.

they do allow 31st statement date & I previously posted what a silly idea that was - if a month does not have 31 days, your statement cycle will include the first few days of the following month to make up 31 days ie:
- for Jun, your statement covers the period 1 Jun to 1 Jul
- for Jul statement covers period 2 Jul to 31 Jul
- for Feb (non leap year), it will be 1 Feb to 3 Mar
- for Mar wld be 4 Mar to 31 Apr

... what a mess

28th is perhaps least confusing since every month has 28 days.

There is no difference... Whether the statement date is on 28th or last day or any day of the month, the number of days is fixed.

In your example you have used exact 31 days to calculate... of course messy.

Did not know that is how statements are prepared. When I requested in May, I asked for my statement to be changed to end of every month. CSO asked 31st ? I said yes. That's how it started.

I think what he means is the messy statements is not produced by him but was projected by uob after he chosen 31st

hahaha, why change statement date, just try to manage your spending lor, before u change, think of the implications:

1. New cardholder - affects first quarter cycle and how much rebate u receive (pro rated at 1/3 or 2/3)
2. Delay when u can start earning the new rebate rates starting Oct 1
3. Wrong date choice affects statement due date and may affect your giro to UOB1 account if chosen as criteria to earn interest.

My statement due date is not fixed, sometimes 31, sometimes 1-2, so affects meeting my giro criteria. If u choose 31, not every mth got 31, so your statement date and due dates is always moving/changing, u will have problem.

I'm happy with 12, but the due date is the problem, so moi no longer rely on this card for giro payment criteria

So far, moi jin happy with account, received 2 coffee bean cards ($15 and $5) and just received $10 taka voucher for the account, hahaha, now waiting for voucher for giving feedback on new ib, hahaha

They do allow. My statement dates fall on the last day of every month regardless of its 30th or 31st.

UOB One vs. SCB Bonus$aver

I can fulfil the 3 bills and >$500 cc spend for most months of the year.

Which account can give me higher interest rates? I currently have OCBC 360 but I'm thinking I should change. (I can't fulfil salary GIRO, signed up before UOB One was released.)

2.43 vs 1.88 on savings
3.33 vs 0 on credit card spend.

there is only 1 clear winner

if cannot fulfill, still leave the money inside these accounts, then really losers.

there are so many accounts that give much more that 0.1% for savings.

He can fulfil most months not all months, so uob1 not necessarily best for him

i fulfilled 8 out of the past 12 months, think i just need to watch my spending more and spread my expenditure out more evenly.

There are two schools of thought.

The trained (or untrained) CSO group confirms no.
The existing ONE CC & ONE Account group confirms yes.

Read through the T&Cs of the one cc and one account. If it never states excludes means qualify. If it states excludes means do not qualify.
