Getting paranoid looking at the terms and conditions of the UOB one card... I wonder if UOB will deny me my rebates if I use it to top up my parent's Singtel prepaid card....

merchant singtel, dont see any issue.
unless they can boil down to singtel differently, end of the day singtel bill and singtel shop etc are running on similar mcc code.

another smart alec bank told me singtel bill is consider as those excluded transaction end up also found to be invalid since mcc code is similar to those at singtel shop which they cant never classify further.

for ezlink related, i think they scrutinize to the max, so u cant run even if mcc code is not affected.

alternative just use those online rebate cc, sure no issue.

Any mention about Singtel Prepaid SIM card?

it says
With effect from 1 March 2016, top-ups for any pre-paid card will not qualify as card transactions and such spend will not go towards the minimum spend and cash rebates will not be awarded for such purchases.

my guess is any means all types of pre-paid card

I don't think they are the same. If you top up from Singtel website, there's no difference you pay your postpaid line or prepaid account.

FWIW, I just called UOB this morning, and was given some useful information on this card:

The "quarterly" rebate is not based on calendar quarter (my own assumption previously), but on a 3-month basis from the time you sign up, e.g. you sign up and get approved for the card in March, and the "quarterly" period for the $500 spend and associated rebate is March, April and May.

However, if you do not meet the minimum $500 spend in the first month, they will pro-rate the rebate accordingly still if you hit the $500 in each of the subsequent two months.

So in my case, I didn't meet the minimum spend in March, so no rebate and added interest for the ONE bank account in March, but as long as I hit $500 in April and May, I can still get the "quarterly" rebate for the card, and also the incremental interest in my ONE bank account in April and May.

Came into this thread to clarify on this as I missed the $500 spending for the first month so thanks for the update.

This confirms the following clause in the T&C:

Quarterly Cash Rebate for the
first Quarter
may be awarded on a pro-rated basis as follows:
i)
where the Minimum Amount for a Tier is only met
in the third Statement for the first Quarter, then
one-third of the Quarterly Cash Rebate for that res
pective Tier will be awarded;
ii)
where the Minimum Amount for a Tier is only me
t in the second and third Statements for the first
Quarter, then two-thirds of the Quarterly Cash Reba
te for that respective Tier will be awarded; or
For the purpose of this clause, the
first Quarter
means the period of three consecutive statement mo
nths
commencing from the date on which the Principal Car
dmember is first issued a Card.
For the avoidance of doubt, Quarterly Cash Rebate f
or any subsequent Quarter will only be awarded if t
he
Minimum Amount is fully met for the Quarter

Has anyone had any success moving late post dates back to the transaction dated month?

For example, if I made a transaction on 31 Mar that would have brought my spending to the next tier, but it only posted on 1 Apr, has anyone successfully appealed to bring it back to March such that March spending hit the next tier?

I sort of did. But that's because one of transaction took 8 days to post. i din request to appeal. The CSO volunteer to appeal it for me. He claimed it's their fault.. I just "o... okie".
The appeal was successful but they forgot to credit in the money.. it took 3 mths for me to finally get the rebate..

I think have to correct my statement above. After looking through my bill, I think Singtel online bill and prepaid top-up can be told apart:

SINGTEL-MYBILL SINGAPORE SG
SINGTEL HI!ACCOUNT TOP-UP SINGAPORE SG
