Thanks all for the quick responses!

I just found out that for the Maybank Platinum Visa, transactions on the supp card contribute towards minimum spending, but do not earn cash rebates. That's based on the T&C here:
http://info.maybank2u.com.sg/pdf/cards/tnc-platvisa-rebate.pdf
So if I may rephrase my earlier question - for UOB one and other cashback cards, do transactions on the supp card:
(a) contribute to minimum monthly spend
(b) earn cash rebate

I think for BOC Family card the answer is yes to both, and for Maybank Platinum Visa the answer is no to (b), but not sure about the rest.

Think you misunderstood something. Transactions from maybank visa plat supp card get accumulated to main card, and rebate is calculated based on the accumulated amount. Transactions from supp card indirectly do earn rebate that will ne credited to main card. Standard mechanism for supp card spend and award of points/rebate.

Ah ok thanks for clarifying. I was confused by the last bullet in page 1 of that link.

Is it the same for UOB One card?

Remember to call UOB hotline to adjust your monthly statements to count until the last calendar day of EACH month. Easier for tracking of expenditure.

How will the quarters for rebate calculation be affected after adjusting statement cycle?

Note:
With effect from 1 Feb 2017,
1) Monthly instalments under 0% Instalment Payment Plan and SmartPay will not qualify as card transactions and such spend will not go towards the minimum spend and will not be awarded cash rebates.
2) A minimum of 5 transactions per month must be made to earn cash rebate and will take effect on your new qualifying quarter.
Please note that there will be changes to the UOB One Card terms and conditions. Refer to FAQs for more information.

Last time my statement date is 10th of every mth and I pay my CC bill via GIRO to my UOB one saving account to get
max interest . The problem is the GIRO deduction is not always the last day of the mth. At times it is roll over to 1st day of the following mth and I missed out on the interest cos 1 GIRO deduction short. Called them to Change statement date earlier to 7th of the mth and problem solved. I doubt u can choose statement date. Is either 7 or 10 of the mth.

Any date except the 1st of the month is possible. If I am not wrong, they can only bring forward the date but not backward and they will avoid a situation where one will be double billed in a month.

You can bring forward twice to the next month if the "backward" date is too near. Or if backward is still some weeks away, that's still possible.
