Does anyone know if the change in TnCs affects the rebate portion of the CC only? or also the bonus interest portion of the account ?

I didn't track properly and fell below $500 spend on the credit card last month, excluding existing instalment payments. So my rebate is gone for this quarter.

But if the instalment payments are considered, I have hit above $500, so do I still get bonus interest in the one account?

Instalment should count for bonus interest

my QF is as follows:
*Your qualifying period for quarterly rebates is (1) October to December (2) January to March (3) April to June and (4) July to September

my statement is 4th of every month.

can i confirm if to qualify for July to September rebate, i need to spend on 5Jun-4Jul (Jul 4th statement) / 5Jul-4Aug (Aug 4th statement) / 5Aug-4Sep (Sep 4th statement), then rebate will reflect in Oct 4th statement??

The spending is based on posting date not transaction date. To be safe, do not spend less than 3 days before the cut-off date and for overseas transactions give a few more days to post.

Check the exclusions list.

Installment payments not counted.

I received a credit card waiver recently from UOB.

My experience with UOB is the opposite, in a positive way.

On their telephone hotline, you can key in your credit card number to apply for the waiver .

They will then send you an SMS to notify you of the outcome.

apparently so.

i called early last week. and up till now, no sight no sound.
waiver or not, they dont seem to bother to reply.

I believe they send an SMS confirming they receive the request, and the waiver came within a reasonable timeframe. I accept the fact that waiver of fee is not on top of their business agenda.....
