i use the card every month (with the bulk of the transactions done in the first 1/3 of the month), but the rebate only comes in on the final day of the forth month so far, it doesn't come in earlier although i use the card in the beginning of the month

That's not what Verbatin means I think. By "use the card before rebates is credited" means we need to have spending in the 4th statement month then they will show you the rebates for previous quarter.

Also whichever date you get the rebate on in the 4th month is dependent on your statement cut off date, doesn't have anything to do with when you use your card, lol.

And so far UOB appears to be the only bank who practices this (I only have experience with the more common banks though), but it's not a big issue is it?

Also, not sure if the ONE has the same tncs as the JCB card that was revamped last year. The spending criteria of that card got updated and the tnc mentioned that if you don't use the card for more than 6months your credit gets forfeited. Like an "expiry date" lol. My cashback really disappeared but I called to appeal 8months later and managed to get it back luckily. Not sure if it's the same across all UOB cards but better check to be safe if you plan to stash the card for awhile.

Just noticed that we can see our SMART$ balance and expiry date in the internet banking interface...

Look for a small tab "Show Rewards Points" just below the box, bottom right, of summary for your credit card

Haha thank you, is this new? I always thought it was annoying how we could only see it on the statement itself.

I have a query.

Scenario:
- Month 1 - $2000
- Month 2 - $2000
- Month 3 - $2000
- Month 4 - $2000, and also get cashback credit of $300 (because i hit $2000 for previous 3 months)

Question: For Month 4, is it registered as me hitting $2K, or $1.7K (due to cashback credit)?

considered as 2K, just take note within these spending there are no 0% installment. The installment will not be taken into consideration

when will receive the letter of statement?

As in the monthly statement for the card spend? You may like to call in to check when is your statement date, the statement will take a few days to reach you (if u opted for the statement to be mailed to you as opposed to estatement).

Hi, can this card pay for AIA insurance policies? I'm paying annually via giro at the moment and am thinking to switch to payment by cards. Also, there's this premium which is around $2.5k. I don't think I'll be able to spend $2k for 3 consecutive months though.. Any other suitable cards for this one policy? TIA!

Don't think there is a means to pay AIA using this card.
