· Fines
· Bail and Bond Payments
· Tax Payment
· Postal Services-Government Only
· Intra-Government Purchases-Government Only
· Government Services-not elsewhere classified
· HDB season parking
· Ministries, Govt Agencies such as MOM, MOE, NEA, AVA, HDB, ICA, IRA, ACRA etc
· People’s Association & Community Centres
· Govt Hospitals & Polyclinics
· Public Recreation such as National Library Board, Singapore Sport Council, Swimming Complexes, NParks, SAFRA
· Postal Services such as Singapore Post, VPOST


So SPH, SP services and town councils are ok la. But their postal service is contradictory. Will be replying them on that.

I just called UOB hotline. The CSO says that HDB season parking is included into the $500 per mnth spending and credit card rebates.. How come got different responses here?

There's no official statement on such transactions. All are according to the replies of CSO. You need to try it to know. Who is willing to try it? That's another question.

Eg Ng Teng Fong hospital ward has MCC8062 hospital, not classified under govt so not excluded. Ng Teng Fong pharmacy has MCC9399 govt services so excluded.

For the ng teng fong ward I based it on getting 5% rebate on BOC family. should be the same MCC regardless of card.

hi guys, I'm alittle confused with the uob account vs the credit card on the $500 min spend.

If I start using my credit card in feb, then in march 6th I will get the bill for credit card. But because the bill comes in march and I have yet to pay cc bill, does it mean for the uob one account in the month of feb, there will not show any retail txn since cc havent pay means no txn yet?

Or am I'm confusing my ownself?

Hi, even if you haven't paid your bill, the transactions will still qualify you for the $500 minimum spend.
