I received my statement and I get $16.66 + $0.30 (3% card rebate on $1k). The CSO said the 3% is what they give for unqualified months upon appeal, but it doesn't add up.

Have appealed for $16.66 for the 3rd month. Hope it is approved.

Refer to the ONE Card T&Cs. There is a Base Rebate of 0.03% of total card transactions in a calendar year (Jan to Dec). The base rebate to be credited in Feb the following year.

Hi, I recently got admitted into a Govt hospital and paid my bills using UOB one card. Does this payment count towards the $500 minimum spending and cash rebate? Thanks for any advice.

I signed up for the card on January and didn’t activate until 1st of March, wasn’t aware of the quarterly is Jan-Feb-March

January - not qualify (Card not activated)
February - not quality (card not activated )
March - $500 (Card activated)

Anyone think I can successfully appeal for the quarterly rebate? As I’ve a few more bills to pay and might hit $1000. Won’t want it to go to a waste if it’s not appealable .

Just noticed that any new card transactions is shown instantly in the internet banking now. The posting date is shown as pending though. Great for deciding how much balance to top up to grab to fulfill the minimum spending for the month. Leave about 2 days before statement cutoff for grab transactions to get posted.

The CSO will tell you your rebate will be pro-rated over the 3 months ie one third of $50 or $100. Note at least 5 transactions to be done.

Do I need to appeal for such case ? Or it will be pro-rated over 3 months? Since it’s the first quarter .

You will have to call UOB to check the MCC code of your transaction. Most transactions are eligible but I have a case where the eye clinic became fire department and another case where the hospitalisation bill was not eligible and I was too lazy to clarify why.

Question - if I top up grab pay using UOB one card, and then use those grab pay credits to pay my SGH bill. Do I get the 5% grab rebate ?

It doesnt matter what you use Grabpay credits for. UOB can't track what your Grabpay usage on Grab merchants is. All Grab related transactions(rides, food, topup) will be counted to the 5% Grab rebate as per UOB One promotion.
