Anyone have answer if Caroupay is eligible for rebates and min spend?

Also, the additional rebates, Grab(5%) and SP(1%) will be in on every statement month instead of every quarter right?

UOB's definition of quarter is 3 statement months or calendar months?

Hi, got a question.

If I use my UOB One Card to make 1 and only 1 transaction i.e. a monthly payment of $500 to my OCBC 365 card, will it count as:

(A) my $500 spendings towards quarterly rebate of $5; and
(B) my UOB One Account qualifying requirements?

nvm just read the TnC and confirmed this doesn't work...

Tier 1 Minimum Spend means:
(i) The Card Transaction amount in each Statement
for the Quarter is at least S$500 but less than
S$1,000 ; AND
(ii) Charged at least 5 Card Transactions in each
Statement Month within the Quarter.

The following Card Transactions (collectively referred to as the “Exclusions”) do not qualify to earn any
Quarterly Cash Rebates or Base Cash Rebates. The Bank reserves the right to amend the list set out below
from time to time without any prior notice or giving any reason or being liable to any party.:--
(b) balance and/or funds transfers to or from the Card Account;

Just checking, has anyone tried using UOB One Card at National Dental Centre? Does it count towards the rebate/min spend?

Does nets payment count towards the monthly spend?

Just received my first statement on my one account savings debit card. (one card was just approved about a week ago)

My total withdrawals for the month is $690(mostly nets payment) however based on my estatement under the 'Debit card eligible spend' it indicates $10.82.

Appreciate the help!

Nets payment not counted. Must be eligible visa/masters transactions

Thanks for the reply Trazora.

Noted on the nets payment. However, paywave transactions at petrol station were not included too. As well as Lazada and Agoda.

My Lazada purchases using debit card are counted. Not sure about One Card though.

Different cycles? Was the statement also on calendar month?

Thanks!

All 3 giro successfully deducted from uob one account in Apr?
Min $500 eligible spend posted in Apr?
How much is your average daily balance in Apr?

Another possibility is not all $500 are eligible spend for Bonus interest.

One Account will be eligible for Bonus Interest if the Primary Holder successfully charges a minimum required sum in a calendar month on retail transactions to such UOB credit card and/or UOB debit card as determined by us, which is issued to the Primary Holder as the main cardholder (“Condition 1”). For this purpose, retail transactions charged by the Primary Holders supplementary cardholder(s) will be accrued to and aggregated under the Primary Holder’s principal card. A transaction is
successfully charged if it has been posted in the Primary Holder’s statement as falling within a calendar month.

40.12 “Retail transactions” refers to local and foreign retail transactions and recurring bill payment but excludes the following:
(a) previous months’ outstanding;
(b) cash advances, balance transfers, fund transfers and fund withdrawals;
(c) instalment loans, monthly instalment under instalment payment plans or SmartPay;
(d) transactions arising from the use of your UOB credit card or UOB debit card for ATM transactions, NETS transactions, bill
payments at AXS, SAM and NETS;
(e) fees, interests, late payment charges and other financial charges imposed by UOB;
(f) payment of funds to any prepaid accounts, including but not limited to top-ups on any stored value facility, EZ Link card transactions and other transit link transactions;
(g) payment made to government institutions and services (for example, court cost, fines, bail and bond payments, tax payment,
postal services, intra-government purchases and any other government services not classified here);
(h) payment made to charitable / religious organizations;
(i) payment made on gambling or trading platforms (including but not limited to websites for trading of shares, foreign currency and cryptocurrency);
(j) unposted, voided, cancelled, disputed and/or reversed transactions within the calendar month for any reason. We reserve the right to debit the amount of Bonus Interest credited from any of your Accounts if the adjustments arising from such unposted, voided, cancelled, disputed and/or reversed transactions have not been made within the relevant month; and
(k) any other transactions we may exclude from time to time without prior notice.

Can someone correct me on how the rebate quarter works? Let's say the qualifying period written on my bill is May to July. I want to qualify for their $300 rebate, my billing date starts from 1st of the month to 25th.

Does this mean I have to spend 2k in April, May, June each month to get the $300 rebate in August? Let's assume all my purchases qualify and it's 5 payment.

As told by CSO previoudly, I think the month stated means for the month when your Statement is generated. Given your statement date is on 25th, so it means for May to July, not April to June. It is clear.

For my case the statement is on 5th, then it got bit confused. e.g, for my qualifying period written is Apr-Jun, so it actually means for the spending on the month of Mar-May.
