Wanted to call and check if my transactions are valid for the rebates and the call is always picked up someone who couldn't help and need to transfer my call to another department despite me picking the right options in the phone banking

Seems correct to me if your inquiry is about card cashback. But if it’s about eligible spending for One Account then Banking Services will be the correct department to advice.

Cash rebate is under Banking Services. All promotion related stuff usually is Banking Services. Card Services is usually quite specific like card transaction, card fraud, billing cycle etc.

From my personal experience the Banking Services department also picks up much faster than Card Services department. Got as fast as 2 minutes connected for Banking Services but Card Services usually at least 10 minutes hold if not longer. Depends on the day and time you make the call also. Likely UOB deploy more staff for Banking Services as more inquiries tend to be generic inquiries.

Anyone appeal in this sitaution before?

1st qualify month - Spend $2100
2nd month - Spend $2050, have a refund of $60 for June expense. CSO say qualifying spending only $1990
3rd month - spend $2000

So CSO say for 2nd month i didnt qualify for $2000 spending. But the $60 refund is for june expenses.
Which take into account i still qualify for all 3 months.

Yes - had done similar situation before. Refund from 3rd party reducing your balance.
Should be no issue especially if this is the first time you appeal annually

Ntuc gift card. Can pass to family members

Or go to SP customer service at Toa Payoh and pay your SP bill in advance using their payment kiosk.

Pay your Telco in advance.

Get supplementary card and pass to family member who spends (for future months)

Capital voucher not sure.

Gift card and physical vr should be ok since use the same cashier terminal.

I personally find gift card easier. The gift card is free. So you can spilt into a few gift cards. Plus gift card expiry gets extended whenever you topup of any amount. Physical vouchers cannot extend. Usage is easier. I buy newspaper $1 also can pay by gift card. Gift card can use at self checkout machine.

The gift card balance and expiry date is printed on the ntuc receipt when you make payment.

nowadays only can use capital evoucher, no more physical vouchers. Can buy capita evouchers from wogi and count towards min spend

My guess is merchant has to charge shopee before shopee charges us.

Otherwise if shopee charges us before merchant charges, what if the item becomes OOS and merchant cancels order?

But that's just my guess...
