I'm having the same issue. Not sure if the spend will be recognised as eligible spend.
I contacted UOB customer service and was told that it still counts as eligible transaction based on the MCC given by them. But I am still a bit sceptical as sometimes their word is not 100% correct.

Shopee Singapore SINGAPORE SG: MCC 5311
SHOPEEPAY PRIVATE LIMITED SINGAPORE SG: MCC 5399

UOB customer service also told me to contact Shopee customer service which I did as well but will need to wait for them to get back. Either way the transactions are posted already so no way Shopee or UOB can correct the transaction record unless I somehow file for a refund for the Shopee order and order again, even though there's no issue pertaining to the items ordered. To play safe is to assume it's ineligible and spend extra to cover this ambiguous transaction, otherwise there's a risk of not getting 3 months worth rebates.

I previously had the same issue between:
Shopee Singapore SINGAPORE SG, and
SHOPEE SINGAPORE MP SINGAPORE SG

one was given rebate while the other wasn't (can't remember which). only after I submitted an appeal (or a complaint) then after the quarter no more issue.

idk but it feels like the bank (UOB) is the one setting all the rules and stuff. they can easily tweak something without us knowing. my current appeal (which was based on 2023 MAY and AUGUST) is yet to receive the rebate because they did not give rebates for JASONS DELI as part of Dairy Farm Group which their website clearly stated it is.

imagine waiting for almost a year to receive a rebate for an eligible spend (2023 May --> 2024 Feb not yet received).

Can hospital bill count towards $500 spending even if itself is not eligible for cashback?

Reason is other mths in quarter may be eligible $500 spendings too

not eligible, see the TnC for the exclusions. Also dun get ur reason at all, need to meet $500 spend and min 5 transactions in each of all 3 statement months in quarter to get cashback.

Ic. Thanks.

As in include ineligible transactions to make up min spending. For example $400 hospital and 4 other eligible spendings to make up $100. Don't mind the cashback limited to the eligible transactions only as long as meet min. spending

cant understand the logic in this, if it is an ineligible transaction, how can it contribute towards the min spending...just use healthhub to pay the hospital bill.

Sorry for my ignorant, I downloaded the Heymax app and found this card has the highest cashback for ZIP airline. Could there be a mistake?
If I buy an airline tickets, Agoda, etc, do I enjoy the cashback rate of 3.33% with UOB One Card?
I thought this card is only enjoying 3.33% cashback for McDonald's, Shopee, GRAB, DFI groups, SPC, SP Services.
Other transactions are very small amount of cashback.

You just need to check UOB website. If you spend on eligible transactions consistently over 3 months, you’ll get a fixed cashback based on your tier + additional cashback for the merchants you mentioned.

Thanks for the reply
But just want to clarify for better card strategy for maximizing cashback, For Agoda and airline tickets, it is under OTHERS right? Since it is not under UOB travel?

UOB Travel has a dedicated website and not related to Agoda or other OTA. Anything not excluded by TnC and not listed in additional cashback goes to other spending and contributes to monthly spending ($500/$1000/$2000) only.

Anyone recently bought items from Shopee Supermarket seller and paid via credit card but the transaction on the credit card statement shows as “SHOPEEPAY PRIVATE LIMITED SINGAPORE SG” instead of the usual “Shopee Singapore SINGAPORE SG”?

I ordered the same exact item from Shopee Supermarket and paid via the same credit card, the order on 12th Feb 2024 the transaction shows “Shopee Singapore SINGAPORE SG” and the order on 15th Feb 2024 the transaction shows “SHOPEEPAY PRIVATE LIMITED SINGAPORE SG”. How is it possible when I don’t even have ShopeePay enabled on my Shopee account? :s11:

I also got the same transactions.. and I tried using smrt card also getting the same transactions..
