My UOB one card just got approved, should be receiving it these few days. How are the spending quarters determined? What about the rebates for first month - how is it calculated?

Call hotline to ask which are the 3 mths for your quarter. You might also want to confirm when your billing cycle ends and change it if you don't like it eg change to coincide with calendar mth. Rebate for first quarter can be prorated. Eg of you can't make it for first mth, will get prorated for mth 2 and 3.

Rebate go by statement months, so your first 3 statements is your first quarter.

First month can be pro-rated, if you spend less. But if you can hit $2k, they will give the full rebate.

3.2. Quarterly Cash Rebate for the first Quarter may be awarded on a pro-rated basis as follows:
i) where the Minimum Amount for a Tier is only met in the third Statement for the first Quarter, then
one-third of the Quarterly Cash Rebate for that respective Tier will be awarded;
ii) where the Minimum Amount for a Tier is only met in the second and third Statements for the first
Quarter, then two-thirds of the Quarterly Cash Rebate for that respective Tier will be awarded; or

I also just received it today.
Not sure of any difference but from their FAQ 5, it seems that it is a matter of time before we have to switch

read the phamphlet that comes with it..u can keep your old card till it expires but after that they wont send u a new card cos they already sent u the new “Visa Signature” card..and expect you to use it..

I found the new design tacky and ugly so wont be using it but my sis love it..Anyway i have not been using it ever since they exclude government related payment. I had switched to Maybank Platinum which works exactly like One but doesnt exclude govt payment..

Yes. Just remember, your spending amount must be more than your smart$, otherwise there won't be a option to redeem.

Does anyone know if paying to MCST using AXS app app count towards to transaction and rebate? Not sure if MCST count as government? Also not sure if AXS payment is counted because T&C only mention AXS "TOP UP"? Thanks

Any payment made via AXS are not eligible.

For instance, i paid my SP Bills via AXS and was told that it wasn't eligible and therefore, I fell sort for one month.

But if it is a recurring bill payment, then it would be considered. But UOB recurring payment only has a few service providers and MCSTs are definitely not in the list.

MCST can pay by cardup right ? Cardup eligible for spending for interest and rebate.
