So I also called. My quarter is Aug, sept and oct. my statement is dated last day of the month. the cso said I will get it on 30 nov. let’s see!

I called up UOB. Advised it will be Nov, Dec, Jan. But my statement is 4th Nov to 3rd Dec.
UOB CSO said i have missed Nov.

Question:
1) if i spend for Dec & Jan, do i still get rebates in Feb statement?
2) i read about appeal for 1st month but dint quite understand what the appeal is about though. Can someone help enlighten me please?
3) does paypal charges contribute to the 5 transactions a month and minimum spend?

1) you missed the 3rd-Nov statement spending, so next 2 statement spending would not get rebate. The prorated rebate is only for 1st quarter when you first got the card. After that u need to meet spending in all 3 statement months of your quarter.

Are there any ongoing promotions for the new joiners to the UOB one card? It seems that most promotions have already reached the first 1000 etc, long ago.

Do you think it will be wise to wait till year end to sign up in hopes of new promo for new joiners?

If it is KKH, as in the government hospital, then NO. Any government hospital, be it NUH, SGH, TTSH, KK etc, you don't qualify. Only if you go to private practice then counted. So, as long as your bill as the word KKH, then not counted.

I cannot remember which cc it is but it was clarified as such in the FAQs. However, the MCC should technically be medically related since there are cc which give rebates for medical expenses.
I have not tried for hospitalisation since changes were effected for govt related expenses but I have tried for specialist clinics and pharmacy in hospitals. So far no issue, except for the one time I used UOB ONE at a KKH's clinic. When I called it to clarify, I had to dispute that the MCC used should never have been fire department.

I got my waiver automatically. Not sure what’s the requirement though. Charged and reversed immediately. If it’s min spend then sure qualify as tagged to uob one .

Change of policy ? Last time heard they waive if it is the only UOB card. How much is the annual fee ?
