That is instalment payment plan (ipp)? Thought he referring to something other than ipp.
Hmm... I am always under impression that IPP is arrangement made with the bank.
He quoted watch as an example so I will think the merchant will want to charge in full (with installment spelt out) to have a guarantee that the watch will be paid for to release the watch to him. Anything else sounds like a recurrent payment instead.

I would advise not to use the card for any installment plan at all. First zero rebates. And they start to charge annual fee of $192+ nowadays. If u wanna closed the card they will ask u to pay $100 for early payment. But what if customers choose not to pay for these "ridiculous" fees?
This is definitely true in most circumstances but it was the least of my worry as I do spend quite a bit on the card. Now that it does not qualify for rebates, I rather pay in full to qualify for cc benefits instead.

Not sure what you mention here even exist. If it exist I have never encountered before. It seems to be just a postulated question to start with.

Does cardup or ipaymy transaction still work on UOB one?

Works on Cardup transactions.

No experience using on ipaymy transactions though so let the others share their experience instead.

Hello

I have applied for UOB ONE CARD.
After one month got a feedback from UOB. They ask me to renew my EP and provide new copy.
My EP will expire in May 2019!
Isn't it a weird request?
Regards

Yes, it means too short. When you renew your EP to 2021, they will approve your card

my current statement period is the 15th of every month.
I called UOB to change it to the end of every month.

I applied UOB One and received my card 29 Nov
I made my 5 transactions of $2000 on 30 Nov and it was posted as well.

would the 30 Nov transaction fall under my first statement period under Nov?
so I should spend in Dec as well?

or does my statemend period start in Dec? so I need to spend in Jan instead?

called UOB but their answers weren't very clear

If you change it , 1.5 months will be considered 1 new month in the new cycle
And that month will be considered for rebate per quarter

Understand Singpost transaction does not qualify for the quarterly cash rebate

But is it eligible to be counted as 1 of the 5 minimum transactions per month?

Hi everyone, can I check whether if topping up of SingTel Dash account using UOB ONE card is considered as an eligible transaction under the $500 monthly spending, to get the bonus interest as well as the quarterly cash rebate? Thanks for any advice.
