To count for 5 transactions of lets say $1000, I can top up $200 each time to Grab for 5 times in a single day?

Using SimplyGo

I plan to use cardup with UOB One on my rent - I can easily qualify for the 2k tier.

Just wondering, if I use UOB One card for bus/mrt via SimplyGo as well - would this be able to contribute to the min 5 transactions per month?

Not much info on this except the UOB website where SimplyGo will be eligible for the spending tier - but not sure about the number of transactions.

Based on my DBS credit card - SimplyGo transactions are posted once every few days - not sure if this will be classified as just one transaction either.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Why not charge directly to UOB One card? You earn cashback directly if have minimum spending of 500 for 3 months. UOB Delight also need minimum spend of 400 already.

Topping up Grab using UOB One card gives you additional 5%.

So if I have $2k premium for Prudential a month, instead of getting $300 every quarter, I'll be getting $600 by using GPMC.

Use GPMC with Cardup can get grab points?

I just did a cardup for insurance using GPMC. No Grab points.

Those new to cardup can get referral code for $20 off the cardup fees if payment is more than $1000. But because the 2.25% is given as a promo code, referral code cannot be used together. Will need to spilt into 2 cardup transactions. The first transaction would be $1000 at 2.6%. After less $20 referral code, fee is $6. The second transaction would be for the balance at 2.25%. Depending on your payment amount, do your calculations to see if worth the effort.

I am in similar situation as you. My GE insurance has grace period of 30 days from due date. My due date is 23 Jan. So I need to pay by 21 Feb. I will be spilting to pay part in Jan and part in Feb.
Does the GE portal accept GPMC payment?

GE portal allows credit card payment for certain type of policy only. Mine cannot. Had to use cardup. You can login and see if yours allow.

For those where credit card payment is allowed, not sure if GPMC is allowed.

The transaction is base on every few days where they sum up the transport fare. And that is consider just 1 transaction in your credit card statement
