UOB one card

I received 2 cash rebates recently. First called one card additional rebate (I assume is the grab 5% extra cashback that used to be around) and the second called uob one cash rebate bill redemption. Anyone know what is the latter?

The latter is the quarterly rebate.

Thanks for your reply. I just notice that the app said ‘U have paid for everything!’

But I can see an amt outstanding on the bill dated 24th June.

I have a ‘failed’ online payment last month....does it mean the app considers i have over-paid? Too weird...

The app cannot prepay bill. Maybe check again when there is bill to be paid.

Even if the transaction category not right and i fall to the liwer tier of $100, the rebate amt should be $100 rite?

use PC login then can see the credit. App cannot see

There should still be $107.36 to be redeemed the next time you have bill to be offset.

likely he spent $192+108; thinking to cleanly offset $300. But didnt account for the additional rebate.

Both. Anyway for this card the qualifying spend for rebate = min spend.

That's why really hate this UOB One card terms. Quarterly rebate plus the getting rebate only if do future spend.

Now with the falling interest when considering whether to move out from UOB One account, have to take into consideration the quarterly card rebate and strategise 2 to 3 mths ahead.

Saw this on UOB website today:

Nothing to do with UOB leh. Most CC also cannot transfer out +ve credit. SCB is the only one I know can so far.
Nonetheless this poster problem i don’t mind to have. Hahaha

POSB can. Their hotline CSO ever transfer credit to my savings account.

Actually I am more annoyed that rebate is given quarterly. Like now UOB One account cut interest next month, want to move out but already spend 2 mths like wasted.

Have to see is credit or rebate. Credit definitely can transfer. Had transferred within UOB recently (to other credit cards), for credit. Rebate then cannot transfer.

Oh noticed that... yah this mth the main card holder only spent $192; supplementary card holder spent $2k-ish, hence the rebate amt only $192. Phew so the remaining $300-192=108 will come next mth, not kenna makan up.

My main card i spent $192, the rest came from supplentary card. I guess the debit only transferred to main card after the rebate was calculated
