No automatic waiver . You need to reach back to uob once you see the annual fee charged.
Whether they will grant it to you or not - depends on the bank . They don't publish basis of waiver or its rejection

the 2k shopee will not qualify for 6.67% because you need to spend 2k for each of the 3 months. but it'll qualify for the 5% extra rebate based on meeting the min. $500 spend/mth and collectively 3.33% for the quarterly rebate (i.e. $100).

so total for your example is $100 (quarterly rebate) + 5% x $2k (extra rebate, capped at $100) = $200.
