LOL what is that gift? Didn't see it online.
Think it is the free Xiaomi Redmi promo in Sep 2014.
You can refer to the cimb visa signature thread.

Hello all. Does anyone have any idea how this work? I read a few times but still couldn't grasp how it works to get the $250, which is inclusive the standard 2% or Max $100 . What's the qualifying criteria for the additiona up tol $150 (clause 5)? Thanks

Hi all, does that $300 spending include online payment (eg, airplane tickets, ZALORA, Qoo10?)
Thanks
yes for all spending no questions asked
Thanks. I just received my card on 24th April, when do you think my statement will be?
So is it gonna be like I have to hit 300 each for 24/4-24/5, 24/5-24/6, 24/6-24/7 to qualify for 3.33%?
You can call in to check on your statement date. The three months in each quarter is based on your statement date. You can aim for $30/$80/$150 rebate for spending $300/$800/$1500 in all the 3 months.
Trying to recall (my card expiry Sept 2018)
I received my card on the 28th August- and as usual called up to ask abt my cycle. Later I realised my quarter is Aug((1st month is 20 July to 19Aug) to Oct which meant my 1st month had "gone" the very day I received my card. I received $100 for my first quarter.
I think #882(Xcert)is more accurate.
seems like first month is not prorated at all.
New cards: if u meet 2 mths get 2/3 of rebate, if u meet 1mth get 1/3, uob understands many wld be unable to meet in the first mth card received, hahaha, all these in the tnc, just applied, 3 years fee waiver, hahaha
