hi

if the main cardholder and the supp cardholder each spend less than 300, but the total amount exceeds 300, can this be considered for the rebates?

Use Giro pay in full don't need to worry, its those weird people who pay more than they use then need to worry, normal people is use then pay not pay before use.

pay more than they use got to worry meh?

as long as the spending hits the criteria, they will have to give the rebate rite?

Wrong... this card very "special"

If you pay more than you use... they will KIV credit of your rebate. =:p

According to the CSO I spoke to, Giro is triggered 4-day before due. If you choose min payment Giro, gotta make sure also that you have not already paid the min already on D-4, else no Giro also.

Just pay in full, rebate is offset automatically against your 4th statement bill

Right, i need to have the GIRO triggered to achieve the UOB One account GIRO payments, thanks. Meaning I can pay 510-30 meaning outstanding balance less min payment required now, and then D-4 the GIRO will kick in to deduct the remaining 30, since I subscribed for min payment via GIRO?

No... u cannot pay min amt now. Can only pay the remaining after giro. But different CSOs tell me different things, u try calling and share the response?

In my previous call the CSO almost told me the same mechanism as this ocbc reply http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/94296721-post2460.html

You cannot pay the min sum else giro won't triggered, you should have just opt for full payment when apply for giro. Now you are making it difficult to manage, you need to schedule your payment after the giro has activated.

Guys for the rebates, should look at transaction date or posting date?

It is okay to overpay every month; just make sure not to overpay in the month the rebate is to be paid out.

E.g. For quarter 20 March to 20 May, the pay-out date will be triggered on 20 June.
In order to make this elusive rebate manifest itself every 4 months, do keep sufficient outstanding balance in the UOB ONE card. It works like Disney.

Think it will work. Btw 20 March to 20 May don't constitute a quarter

Looks like this form of GIRO arrangement has gone haywire.
