@IcYFl4mEz pointed out a very good point that everytime she makes a monthly repayment, that payment "tops up" the credit limit.
The scenario works like this, for simplicity sake, assuming the 7K is split into 7 months repayment, by the end of month 1 when she makes her first repayment of 1K, here credit limit goes up to 4K. Month 2, it goes up to 5K and so forth.
Hence it's really a matter of when she needs to make her next 7K payment... if it's after month 4 repayment and assuming she doesn't spend on the cards for other things, she's free to swipe another 7k in.
However, she can definitely pay off 7K in month 1, no huge implication rather than the 6K could be better off earning interest elsewhere and you run the risk of UOB holding off payment of rebates to UOB one card as there is positive balance on the card.
Haha my bad, I just realise that indeed the credit limit will go up each month as I repay the installment amount.
Unfortunately my sis has called the bank and the CSO said that even if she repays the full amount in advance she will be unable to use the revised credit limit to sign for another installment plan. Sounds like she has to use another card.
