Saw the above statement on UOB website too.
Does this means I can still TOP up my prepaid card now (before 1MAR) and still qualify for the minimum spend/cash rebate? Feb is the last mth of my quarterly cycle

Any one tried calling UOB? i received the same sms. if cannot, i will move this auto top up to my BoC credit Card.

I applied and got my card in mid-MAY 2015 but only realised today from customer service that my 1st statement is APRIL-MAY.

WOW, so misleading to start statement in APRIL when I still HAVEN'T signed up YET and therfore bloody don't even have the card yet so how to spend it.

This "mislead" has caused me to failed the current $300 rebate scheme. Yes the shitty feeling of tio tricked never goes away.

The qualifying month should be the month of your card approval. I was in the same situation and the 1st month spending was waived. So I only spent $500 for the next 2 months and still qualified for the rebate.

You can just drop them a line to confirm.

What i meant is the counting of quarter.

I signed up and got card in mid-may so i though my quarter is:
May-june
June-july
July-aug

Uob says my quarter is:
Apr-may
May-jun
Jun-july

Why start from apr when i not yet signed up,no card.
Because of this,my oct-nov nov-dec dec-jan
dont get the $300 rebate because i thought my quarter should be nov-dec dec-jan jan-feb.

hmm an "expensive" experience for u, seems u have not been using the card since May 2015? If u had used it since then, u would have found the correct quarters that applied to u under the old and new tnc lor.

If u have been reading this forum/thread since u got your card, u would have done the right things, ie call hotline to find out your first quarter upon receipt of your card, know where to find your correct quarters from your cc statement, learn how to find your correct quarters under the new tnc wef Oct 2015, then u would have earned your $300 rebate in Feb 2016!

Moi got my card in May 2015 also, called hotline, first mth ended on date of card approval, so only 2 mths left for first quarter upon receipt of card, have been receiving max rebate since then, just received my $300 rebate today, my first $300 and my last, hahaha
