According to the fine print , the 2% cash back is capped at $50 per month ( i.e. max spend $2.5k).

Unionpay is like diner's club and JCB, I doubt it will be widely accepted in Singapore.

Unionpay is accepted at many supermarkets in Singapore (Cold Storage , Giant, Sheng Siong etc) .
On top of that , there is a 10% cashback .

I can also use it for many online purchases.

Note that UnionPay is the "official" GSS card with supposed additional discounts, it would probably be good to arm yourselves with at least 1 UnionPay card.

2% cash rebate actually isn't too bad. :)

Unionpay is probably more widely accepted than AMEX and definitely more than Diners/Discover.

Their push is very aggressive!
