Does it beat or equal ocbc's card?

it beats due to rebating overseas dining as well at the current promotional rate of 8%.
Some good offers would be the 1 for 1 cathay tixs, free entry to zouk with one drink etc.
But ocbc 365 seems to have more offers, anyway no harm having an extra card.

So much better than 365. This has 8% on entertainment and their dining applies to overseas as well? 👍🏻
8% is promotional rate till 30 Sep only; thereafter will revert to 6%.

Since most of my spending is online and on dining, I prefer the OCBC 365 card since the online spending rebate of 3% is not limited to online travel only..dining rebates look the same to me (at least from 1 Oct onward) plus I get to clock my min spend for OCBC 360 account

Cool card design and so many 1for1s..
I just applied... Works ok for me.
Can't wait to get my 1for1 movies and 10% rebate at Cathay.. Best so far. :D
take note that the 1-4-1 movies at Cathay only applies to the 1st 100 tickets purchased on weekends at the Cathay cinema only and is valid till 30 Sep.

Not very attractive IMO. Previous DBS live fresh 1-4-1 offer was way better, not so many restrictions.

just hoot the rebate first until it become useless like frank card.
$50 rebate only for new to UOB card holders and must be among the first 350 to clock $600 within each qualifying period.

That precludes most of us assuming most own a UOB card.

BOC SmartSaver + BOC family/ Shop seems like a better combi for you starting 17 Apr.

hmm, yes the BOC smartsaver combi looks good plus cash rebate capped at $100 per month iso $60, but the cards don't offer dining cash rebates.

however I suspect the higher 3.15% interest rate on the bank balance will make up for it. OCBC 360 card only nets me 2.2% p.A. (I don't fulfil the last 1% of insuring/investing with them)

Btw, why from 17 Apr? New T&C / benefits?

actually i'm referring to the cash rebate % not the $50 because need to spend on big amount items so can split the amount to charge as most cards have a cap at $60.

Annual salary of S$30K for locals (S$40K for foreigners).

The best way to use this card is to use it for weekend dining/entertainment - 8% cash rebate.

From 30 March to 30 September, charge S$750 for S$60 Rebate (8%)
From 01 October, charge S$1,000 for S$60 Rebate (6%)

I've put together a handy summary on my website if anyone is interested.

really don't like the idea of splitting transaction to weekend and weekday. Harder to keep track on the rebate.

so must spend $600 to get $60 rebate.
after 1 month, you can afford to pay that $600 in full and on time??
