Improvements to Touch ID and some other minor updates. Updating my 5s now as I'm typing.

Touch ID worked better for me in 7.1.1 (over 7.1). 100% success rate so far. :)

BTW, it (Touch ID) only started to work for me after 7.1 was released. That's like 6 months after using my 5s.

I have also updated to iOS7.1.1
32GB iPhone 5S
Build number: A1530

Yes, the touch ID works better and snappier now, keyboard feedback is better a lil and performance is generally faster system-wide however, problem i've found so far was, noticeable battery drain on my set and its really bad.

Today 25/4/14, i've restore back to iOS7.1 (11D167) and the battery seems to hold on normally.

wah thanks for the info,

i think i will hold back first. see when got good update then upgrade. ;)

I dont know i havent ask around, maybe it's just my set. Other might not face this issue. You can try to give it a go since the update is around less than 30MB and you can restore back to iOS7.1 anytime.

how did you restore to 7.1?

Anyone experienced iPhone crashing after updating? Read some articles that it some users experienced Recovery mode and had to restore when they updated via OTA compared to iTunes.

You'll have to find the iOS7.1 .ispw file on the net, REMEMBER! You'll have to download the .ispw file according to your build number, if not (it will give you a error: This firmware is not compatible) you can find it on the back of your device! Most website offers just either GSM or CDMA versions, you'll have to google harder to find websites that offers specific build number .ispw files to download.

Put your phone into DFU mode and connect to your iTunes, shortly after iTunes prompt you to restore, press and hold 'Shift' and click on the 'Restore' tab, then from there you'll be able to restore selective .ispw files.

P.S i guessed we're unable to use this method to downgrade even further to iOS7.0.x, right? I want the jailbreak damn badly..
