Hope I am not barking up on the wrong tree. Go itunes, connect your iphone and do a backup. I did this often when my icloud back up take longer than usual.

Use ifunbox or iTools to nav to the app folder. Then copy the folder name "document and library" to you computer.

I use iFunbox copy both folders "document and library" to PC, delete my Whatsapp, reinstall from AppStore, then use iFunbox copy back these 2 folders reboot phone. Try run Whatsapp it show connecting halfway the app crash to springboard, try many times still crash not able to use Whatsapp.

Any advice bagger 288?

Install new whatsapp from iPhone iTunes store.
Login to activate and verify your whatsapp.

Close whatsapp from background.
Copy the folder from PC and reboot your iPhone.
Whatsapp should be able to run now

Can. Rem to backup the whatsapp data before you delete the app. Use iTools or I funbox to locate the .ipa file and install
