*most 5700 XT is longer

You still have 4 empty PCI covers, yes it will fit.

Unless the card is too long for your case.

Ah, the connectors look quite tight in your current situation.
Getting a thicker one is not advisable:s22:
how to do think i can fix this? change connectors or change mb?
the incoming card to a Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 5700 XT
its a 2 fan model so the length should not be a problem...
its about the thickness...

Easy way, change mb to an atx one. But it will cost you more.

Hard way, find a way to connect those mb headers with the thicker card:s22:

I'd say not possible. Front panel connectors should be fine given the space between the card and mb.

It's the other connector which I'm worried about. Either do away with that connector or find a right angle one and hope there's enough space:s22:

looks like most b450m/b550m boards have very little space between the pcie slot and the connecting wires. Think there is not much you can do about that. If you take a look at the layout of a b650m board, there's a lot more space for a larger gpu now. Maybe have to go for a smaller gpu like a twin fan 6600xt? or a 4060 slim of some sort.

got it fixed up....... in the end the size was able to fit in.
the thickness was ok.
just that the length the end of it was blocking a stata port...
removed it, it was for my cdrom...
now all good...
thanks for all the replies
