How To Invest Like Warren Buffett When The Stock Market Is Down

Lessons from Warren Buffett
Over the course of his illustrious investing career, Buffett has given us regular investors many words of wisdom. If you want to take a page from Buffett, here’s what he’s said about his key investing principles.

Think long-term. “You’ve got to be prepared when you buy a stock to have it go down 50% or more and be comfortable with it, as long as you’re comfortable with the holding.”

Buy what you know. “Never invest in a business you cannot understand.”

Focus on long-term intrinsic value. “It’s far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price.”

Don’t time the market. “We haven’t the faintest idea what the stock market is gonna do when it opens on Monday — we never have.”

The last point comes from his most recent Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholders meeting. He pointed out that there’s never a perfect time to buy a stock. Rather, he prefers to do his research, invest in the stock, then observe the stock market over time to determine if he should buy more shares or sell the stock.

On another note, the PRU+BLK is = -5.84%
difference is 10.17%

If includes dividends, likely near 10% difference...

But as can be seen, even if you can do better picks than these pro, you will still gg if market goes into the deep red sea...
Using IWDA.LSE as example, it went from May 31st 77.73 to current 72.63, a loss of 6.56%... My picks are roughly in line with market returns so far.

A senior Russian oil executive has died after falling from the window of a Moscow hospital, months after his company criticised the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Ravil Maganov, the chair of the board of directors of Lukoil, Russia’s largest private oil company, “fell from a window at Central clinical hospital”, the Interfax news agency wrote on Thursday, citing a source. “He died from injuries sustained.”

Gustavo Arnal, the chief financial officer and executive vice president at retailer Bed Bath & Beyond, died after an apparent fall from his Manhattan high-rise on Friday, police said.

Confirming his death in a statement released Sunday afternoon, the company praised Arnal, 52, for his leadership and said he "was instrumental in guiding the organization throughout the coronavirus pandemic" after joining the company during the spring of 2020.

start from about 2014 when the latest fund incepted.
over long term, does it really matter which fund u chose?
instead of keep changing and searching for a "better", "cheaper" fund or platform, why not juz choose 1 decent provider and keep forever. decent mean u must be comfortable with the manager and fees.

remb they are all out to make money. there is no free lunch. evy mother son advisor will say they care for u, they take care of u.
all the commission free, kickbacks, free stuff are juz gimmicks. behind the scene, wht they get we low ses will nvr know.
