Is October a peak period for Vegas? Helping a friend with his bookings and even the Flamingo GO deluxe rooms are about 135usd excluding tax. Only paid 45 and 55usd a night each during my trip in April.

Can try excalibur. Price is VFM. Check the reviews to see if it's good or not.

Any recommendation for Hotels near Disney Anaheim?

Filtered to the following
1) Parc Vue Inn
2) BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn
3) Ramada Maingate - At The Park

Preference in no particular order. Not driving hence it must be near to Disney.

IF my memory dosen't fail me I think Ramada has the best location among the 3. IF.

I drove while in Anaheim though. Stayed at the holiday inn which was pretty good. Right beside the shops/restaurants. Cheesecake Factory!

Joel Robuchon @ MGM, a 3 Michelin star restaurant have a 3 course set for 50usd.

How did you get this promo? Coupon?

MGM buffet was decent. Tried their bfast and lunch buffet as I had 2 free buffets that came with my stay.

Anyway, the buffet for buffets is not exactly cheap imo. Isn't it like 50usd for a 1 day pass? How many buffets can you eat in a 24hour span? 3 at most? There's SO much good food in Vegas! Some Michelin starred restaurants also go for like 30% discounts at the tix4tonight booths. Buffet @ Flamingo was 70% off once. Would definitely recommend you to try 1 of those Michelin starred restaurants. Much cheaper over in Vegas as compared to S'pore. Those celebrity chef restaurants in MBS over here are hell exp.
Joel Robuchon @ MGM, a 3 Michelin star restaurant have a 3 course set for 50usd. not sure if they still have it now. that was about 1month ago.

You can also hunt for happy hour specials, some places have happy hour that starts from like 11pm, up to 6am. Like steak and hashbrown(their hashbrown is like rosti) for 8usd?

I went into Wynn to take a look at the spread. Their crab legs were huge. Spread looked really good, better than MGM for sure. In fact there was quite a queue when I was there at 6+pm. Their dinner buffet usually starts at 4.30pm so do check the exact timings.

p.s you can check out tripadvisor, search "las vegas forums". I got ALOT of help from there whilst planning my trip. search for buffet of buffets, there was a thread on it and quite a lot people not recommending ppl to buy it lol. though i have not tried any of the hotels in the buffet of buffets.

Eh, maybe 2-3 hrs without stopping. Seattle is worth taking a few days to see but I doubt any car rental company will allow you to return in another country. Cause let's say hertz canada and hertz US are not definitely not the same.

I DID!! Hahaha it wasn't THAT fantastic but it was an interesting experience :s13: They just put the crab to boil for awhile then serve you,not sauce whatsoever, just the crab in its own juices!

can i ask those who went LA/Las Vegas/San Fran some questions? particularly about shopping at outlet malls

my wife and I will be staying at the following places:

1) knott's berry farm hotel in LA
2) riviera hotel in Las Vegas
3) sheraton pleasanton hotel in San Francisco

anyone knows if there is any outlet mall (roughly 1hr plus travelling) near any of these hotels??

also can i check whether travelling by public transport there is very difficult and long?

SF can get around with public transport. LA best to rent a car. Vegas you can walk along the strip or take bus/taxi to fremont street if you're going there.

I like Gilroy which is about 2.5hrs from the SF city. There's 2 premium outlets in Vegas, 1 north the other south of the strip. All very near.

renting a car should cost less than 100/day? if you take public transport with your family(lets say 4), it wouldn't be that cheap either. parking in LA mostly free also from what I experienced. LA is tooooo big to take public transport unless you're just gonna stay at 1 area and that's it. it's pretty safe and easy to drive btw. i've no knowledge of the roads whatsoever, the gps got me around safely and accurately every single time.

1. isn't knotts in Buena Park? anyway desert hills/Camarillo is ~1.5hrs drive away

2. vegas, there is an outlet by the strip super close. I like more ulu outlet. I get better selection, no Asian tourist buying out the sizes. LOL

3. from the city of pleasanton to Gilroy outlet is just 1hr away.

only vegas u can get to outlet on public transport, others its long man. if u shop like man, its heavy carrying that much stuff to ride the bus with ppl.
if u return late will u feel comfortable riding the bus?

nope did not go there. nope, in SF city most parking must pay. usually about 25-35usd/day. if you're staying with the hotel just park with the hotel imo. about that price also.
