What about Chicago and Washington DC? Worth a visit? :s22:

DC: yes, absolutely. The Smithsonian museums are phenomenal, especially the Air and Space Museum, and the Dupont Circle area is great.

Chicago: um. I'm sure there are things to do there, but it's not nearly as compelling as the coasts.

In Chicago, go join the Gangster Tour. Learn about Chicago's gangs especially the famed Purple Gang and how they operated during the prohibition. See the back alley of the Biograph theatre where John Dillinger was gunned down.

I went on the tour and found the Prohibition fascinating and it operated much like our chewing gum ban. In fact identical to our chewing gum ban. The tour will also talk about the St Valentines Day Massacre.

Chicago is a nice city
U have the nice museums
It's kinda a down size NYC
It's near allen edmonds factory can get cheap factory seconds shoes.

The Chicago Museum of Science and Industry is BIG. There is an intact T-Rex fossil in there. As you know it is a huge dinosaur and yet the size of the whole museum made it look so puny!

National Parks of the US and when I say National Parks, I don't just mean Grand Canyon National Park and Yosemite.

Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Kolob Canyons. In fact, if you are at Las Vegas, make a 3 or 4 day trip out to these parks staying preferably around somewhere in the middle like Kanab, UT or Mt Carmel Junction. I stayed in Kanab and had a blast visiting all these three places including the famed ghost town of Grafton.

I think the point of the video is also the tourist traps.
