Has anybody had a way (other than using iTunes gift cards) to circumvent the US restrictions on making music/tv/app purchases? I've used my vPost address but so far I can only download free apps or music. There are some really cool TV shows I'd like to buy with my credit card, but I'm not sure if I could actually use my credit card information with my billling address as the vPost address.

(According to vPost guidelines, I don't think that's possible -- vPost wants us to input our billing address as our home address and shipping address as the vPost US address. So technically getting a US itunes store account free by this method is also illegal, because we are inputting the vPost US address as the BILLING address.)

This is really frustrating!!

Hi, if you use gift card, then there is no payment and the no credit card option is selected. Hence the address you give is not technically your billing address as strictly no billings are to be made by iTunes to you.

Cheers!

Okay where can I buy a iTunes gift card? It needs to be bought in the US right? I'm in the UK and the card that I buy has to be spent in the UK store I'm afraid.

EBay - do a search for iTunes US gift card. Buy from reputable sellers only.

Anyone bought gft card from them recently? They claimed delivery within 24 hours. However, I hear nothing from them after making payment for more than 48 hours and sending an email reminder 24 hours ago.

They should have the courtesy to keep their customers updated if there is any delay.
usually i will email him before making any payments. cause he like sometimes can go MIA. but tts when i keep trying to get him but can't cause i want to buy.

i am going to buy again from him now. so i emailing him now and ask

I also made payment yesterday, not receiving any news from them, thus sent reminder email. I agree they should at least inform us that they hv received our bank transfer.

I still hv 11 hrs till 48hrs...... I do hope I can get my gift card asap...

MY personal opinion and experience is to ALWAYS inform and wait for reply before payment is made

Yeah, gave myself a tight slap already. Lesson learnt. Can only wait and pray, I'm more concern abt the card as it's suppose to be a gift.
