Oh I didn’t know
Perhaps it that
I sold off google at sub 200 fml

still can buy back at 250?
The last batch I nibbled/DCA was back in Aug. Holding this for the long-term growth. And since my average cost price is quite low around $170, I am fully prepared to buy big when the next crisis hits. I want GOOGL to rise into my top 10 holdings eventually.

At current valuations, I think it is pretty much perfectly-priced. If you are looking for short-term gains, I don't think GOOGL is suitable. But if you are looking to patiently build a core position over 3-5 years, I would suggest waiting for a pull-back to start a position again. Just a suggestion. I'm still a newbie when it comes to US market. 😅

Fml i held asml at 627 for a year and it didnt move then i sold off at 675 few days ago to fund my other purchase and it flew.

Looking back none of my stocks that i sold dipped below my selling price for me to buy back. I guess in a bull market it is better to just do nothing

U are a trader right?
So the reason for u to sell was to redeploy to other stocks which u believe got better risk reward?

So whats the outcome? Better or worst?

Investment is not difficult but many ppl make it difficult. My wife is good example and I doubt she checked her portfolio frequently.

I am her opposite because I need to see a few times a day to try to adjust this and that. But I set simple rules. (1) Bull market must clock profit (2) bear market must keep buying (3) some power stocks cannot sell. So far I only rotate along a few stocks (quite boring) but I came here I got some more ideas. Haha! Another boring one is I rotate among ETFs every year and buy those underperformers. So far worked very well for me but not sure long term works or not. But must be sibei patience. Just like REITs. Haha! I collected for long time and now start to move. My biggest gain is CLCT. People said China no one go malls. Knn! One should go see. Easily kana stampede if not careful.
