Perhaps the market in Singapore is too small. I believe they'll have a certain metric to meet before opening an Apple store in a country. It'll incur costs to them.

And of course, shops like Nubox will be gone

I'm not sure if it is still running. I emailed QCD a month ago and the rep said to go to QCD @ Tai Seng, not the funan branch.

Maybe that's why the users posted that you can only collect it 3 days later.

Can collect it on the spot at the Tai Seng branch. Do call or email to check though.
