yea, video games cannot ship at the moment. don't know if this is permanent or temporary.

hopefully temporary la...some gameshop here has good pricing and good service I must admit. But there are some distributors that don't bring a variety of games in.

honestly if Amazon chooses to stop shipping to singapore for selected items or a total removal of free shipping to singapore, we can't do anything.

But it's probably good business etiquette to give us a notice on when they'll end their services.

"Amazon will cease to ship the following items to Singapore/ FSSG after x"

that'll give us the time and chance to hoot all we want :)

Yup most of the hardware components are fine as of now. There are still quite a number of other items which are still facing the same issue. Amazon's side should be fixing them since yesterday. Give them 2-3 days and try again.

Are those items under global shipping? I check on that box and able to add to my account.

Btw, saw the Samsung 850 512GB, really good pricing. But warranty wise, will it be 10 years still? Or should I get from local, 2 x 256GB for raid? :s11:

Don't raid, better to get a solid 512gb one. Yes the price saving is really a lot.. even after tax and the most exp shipping as mentioned previously. Haha. Warranty wise, of course it is not local, but the savings are well enough to cover multiple freight charges should the disk fail multiple times LOL. Yup, and it is still 10 years but with Samsung USA. The fail rate is super duper low also, you can check newegg and amazon reviews ba. If you happen to get one which is kinda lemon, you can head towards the singapore pools to try your luck.

Currently having a 240GB SSD and filling up fast. Think of getting RAID 0 since SSD failure rate is lower than normal disk a lot, I thinking of risking the chance.

Yup, local price really ridiculous. Tmrw I ask my friend, see whether he can put into his amazon account or not. If can, then confirm we must check the global shipping before clicking on the item liao.

No luck as always, no need go Singapore pools, haha! :s13:

Haha I use raid 0 because I am doing video rendering stuff and I like to use the raid as a temporary housing for my video files (to transfer here and there). So even if they fail, I won't really feel the pain as my os drive is still on the 840 which is not in the raid configuration. Don't really recommend raid as your boot up drive ba, cuz if one fails, the data on the other disk also gg.

Yup, aware of that and been there before. Really just like gambling lor. Need speed but on the other hand, scare of failure. I also play with photos/video and time lapse but for hobby only. Therefore, I going to get a NAS soon with 2 X 4TB on RAID 1. Since it's hobby and so, I not going to spend so much on NAS as 4 bays type price, consider high for me and I not going to max it for now.

Once did the transfer of all photos to NAS, going to handle the C: and follow by a new GPU if require. See budget enough or not lor, might be going for SLI GTX970, yummy! ;)
