OK my experience as a whole is not entirely very good with them.
There was a period of time when I was looking for X99 board and cpu.
What happen was that, the guy was a bit cocky. Reason was that I asked for the cheapest x99 combo that he can offer to me. And I told him the budget that I have. And was hoping that with that budget he could work out something for me. So the first board that offered to me was the Asus x99-a with usb3.1. And was quoted 8xx can't remember how much was it back then. The price he gave was lower by $25 from the asrock x99 extreme. So I said OK, and wanted to make payment by nets, and was said that no for this price he is giving, he wanted only cash.
So I said OK, I go draw money. Went to the atm and draw out and went back there. Confirmed the order and proceed for payment, he then printed out the official invoice and gonna pass him cash already, he rechecked again the pricing and found out that it's not the pricing. He immediately tear the official invoice and tell me it's wrong pricing it's 97x.
Is like you did not even tell me the pricing and you straight tear it away without telling me the pricing first.
Oh BTW they do not follow price list mobo+cpu combo. For that they add up a bit more than usual. Guess it wasn't just tradepac that is doing this trend.
And there was another incident, they love to Jack up their store pricing Only when the whole of sls really oos. And they are the only one that have it. And it is black market pricing of above srp. And they still have the cheek to tell me cheap pricing, give $10 discount despite it is still above srp. And when I questioned them about the pricing in srp, they are so rude by telling me off that ''then you go buy from other stores loh''.
I was so pissed off.
