Anyone can advise which of the following hotel is better in terms of accessibility in Hanoi? For eg; going to tourist attraction such has ha long bay?

Hanoi Sheraton Hanoi Hotel K5 Nghi Tam
Hanoi Sofitel Plaza Hanoi 1 Thanh Nien Road
Hanoi InterContinental Hanoi Westlake 1A Nghi Tam, Tay Ho District
Hanoi Hilton Hanoi Opera 1 Le Thanh Tong Street, Hoan Kiem D
Hanoi Sofitel Metropole Hanoi 15 Ngo Quyen Street

Wow all the hotels mentioned r expensive hotels. Halong Bay is about 3-4 hrs drive. So non of the hotel mentioned is near.

InterCont, Sheraton, Sofitel Plaza are closed to one another in west lake. I will suggest either Hilton or Sofitel Metropole, with a lot of shops nearby to spend your time.

yeah.....hanoi itself i blive nothg much ( im gng in dec )........
it's sapa and halong bay that are attractions if u into sceneries etc....

Dec, sapa will be freezing :D

I was told that my singtel autoroam cannot use there...iszit true?

Sheraton, nothing much to shop there, hop into a taxi n go hoan kiem to shop. Interestingly, "Geylang" is nearby your hotel :D:D:D

During Dec, it seldom rain in Hanoi. But the weather will be cold. For Sapa, the weather will drop below 15 deg. Fat will not last.... :D Check this out, http://www.sapa-vietnam.com/sapa-weather/index.htm

jetstar $128 return next month, i think price is cheap, although tiger cost $119, i would prefer jetstar given the fact of t1 departure. also checked hotel price, really not bad, average US$50+/night of course there are cheaper but US$50/night is alright.

really tempting ****.

wish u have nice trips.

hahahah
