Any recommendation for vietnam pre paid sim card?

I done a search in hwz and also on google. not much info on it... As I intend to use hoiio for sms and pfingo for calls to/fro spore. In this way, i will save lots on roaming charges.

The vietnam pre paid sim card must have free incoming calls and able to access internet using gprs when free wifi is out of reach. Most important of all, it must be cheap! :o Thanks!

thanks natas... And can you access the internet using gprs or in any other way? As sometimes, I use hoiio to sms or pfingo bounce application on my mobilephone to initiate the callback.

For better rates in jewel shop it is better to change with usd. Sgd is mostly not accepted in most of the jewel shop. Unless u wanna go to bank. I only got any bank that have the word starting with viet.

Hanoi On A Budget

We went for a 7 days trip to Hanoi, which covered Sapa, and Halong Bay as well. Flying there by Air Asia from Malaysia, the whole trip came to around RM1000/SGD450 only, including food, accommodation, tours and shopping.

It was very cold back in February-March of this year, when the temperature was very low. But it beats the ultra hot sun anytime.

We stayed at Hanoi Guesthouse in Old Quarters of Hanoi, and took a 3 days tour to Sapa (highly recommended), and one night in Halong Bay, on board the junk boat.

That's very affordable. If fly from singapore, maybe just a bit more.

Hanoi is basically for sightseeing? Nth much to buy there?
