But i find it rather empty if i just go to Nha Trang and HCMC
so any advice on where else to go for 1 week Vietnam trip? If i am heading to Nha trang, sld i still go vantung?

Below is plan D, I hope its more enriching, a better mix of fun and culture :D

PLAN D
Day 1- HCMC, travel to cuchi tunnels, back to HCMC
Day 2- HCMC, exploration, maybe slot in Van Tung. Take midnight train to Nha trang
Day 3- Nha Trang
Day 4- central vietnam, any advise bros?
Day 5- central vietnam ( wan to squeeze in the Phong Nha Caves leh, possible not?)
Day 6- central vietnam- dalat
Day 7- Danang to SINGAPORE via HCMC

Again, if this is not possible, too rush, places sld i skip or places i must go tat i have left out, please tell me!!

Anybody thinks this is possible?

Day 1, arrive HCMC 9 am
go cuchi tunnel immediately
back from cuchi, go to war musuem
have dinner
BT market
take photos at church and post office
take overnight train to Nha Trang (11pm one)

Day 2
8:30AM: Pick up at Hotel for Mun Island (Ebony Island). Stop for one hour of leisurely snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing.
11:00AM: Visit Mot Island where you will enjoy excellent fresh cuisine for lunch.
2:30PM: Continue the fun-filled day stopping at Tam Island. Enjoy some free time with exhilarating water sports including jet ski, catamaran, wave killer, canoe or some leisurely relaxation time.

Visit a fishing village where you can see the villagers at work catching cuttlefish, shrimp, flower crabs.

4:30PM: Back to the harbor at sunset. Return to your hotel.

Stay over at a resort :D!

Day 3, leave in the morning for Dalat,
visit Dantala waterfall, Prenn waterfall. Take cable car from Robin hill to visit the Truc Lam Zen Monastery. Bao Dai’s summer palace ,

Stay over at Dalat

day 4

Leave to Muine in the morning
the Yellow and White Sand Dunes

Leave for HCMC

Reach HcMC at night

day 5- morning: leave to Singapore

---

Reduced the time in viet cause my friends need to be back in sg earlier... Sigh

Day 1, unless u are arranging private tour, all join in tour to cuchi usually leaves in the morning. plus arriving at 9am, immigration check, customs check, you'd probably arrive somewhat 10.30am-11am at sinhcafe,

You plan to carry your belongings around with you all day till train departure in the evening? you probably have to leave your belongings at the sinhcafe,.

Day 2
if you made it for the night train to Nha Trang, sure, but unless you and your party have a good night rest on the train, you gonna end up sleeping half the tour in the morning...

Day 3, leaving dalat by transport? Bus? Car?
possible, if you reach there early.

day 4
Again, im not sure how you gonna plan to tag with your luggages alone during your sightseeing in muine. leave it at sinhcafe as usual i guess, but better make sure the tour timing at sinhcafe matches your arrival, and do remember to check the bus departure time from Muine to Saigon daily beforehand.

day 5- morning: leave to Singapore

thanks in advance!

in short, i wouldnt recommend it to anyone.. too exhausting and too rush for time, you'll never get to enjoy and relax long enough to savour the moment. a Stay in Muine should require a one night, fish market in muine is nice to visit in the morning when there are tons of fish being brought in.. not so nice if u go there in noon time..

Hi.. I'm planning a short trip (4D/3N) to Ho Chi Minh in November.. any recommendations for itinerary for a budget of SGD200?
** Hotel and airfare are alr taken care of, and are not included in the mentioned budget. SGD200 is purely for food and fun..

Shop around at Phan Ngu Lao St in Ho Chi Minh City for budget tours to the Mekong Delta. I did that and visited for a day trip.

Tan Hai Long 1 is near ben thanh market and about 15-20 mins walk to The sinh cafe, the only authentic sinh cafe i know is the one located near Elios Hotel.
