Hi,

I'm planning to visit HCM on february period. How's the weather?

Will be going 4D3N.

Most recommend to go Mekong delta (2D1N)

And Cu Chi Tunnel (1D)

Which tour agency should i book from for above tour?

Any other recommendations for shopping, museum, palace and hotel? First timer here.

Thanks alot.
weather is very much tropical like singapore.

any agents along the pham ngu lao will provide u with around the same price for the same tour.

i quite like the war remnants museum.

Those travelling to Hanoi especially please monitor over the next few days if Haiyan has downgraded or maintained her intensity. It's forecast to hit Hanoi on Tuesday.

go cuchi tunnel..is actually not rush even if u go with tour or visit urself..becos once ur there..u will get a cuchitunnel guide...and u follow his pace to do all the tour..photo taking are just that few so its not really gonna take alot of time. :)
however if u go urself..u book taxi from the hotel..it will cost a bomb..best is u go along the street, ask a taxi and see if hes willing to take u to cuchi for a certain price...we had 7 people on a 8seater taxi and paid about 800k to and fro..

Today papers report Hanoi winds about 120kph. The picture actually showed the junk boat submerged partially below the sea in Halong Bay. Definitely much smaller scale damage than Tacloban.

Should I use a custom tour agent with the price below?

Itinerary 1

10 Dec
Arrive into Hanoi. Pick up at the airport and transfer to your
hotel. If you arrive early, we can do a walking tour of the Old
Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.

11 Dec
Guided tour of Hanoi city. Overnight in Hanoi

12 Dec
Day-trip to Ninh Binh province where we will visit Hoa Lu (ancient
capital of Vietnam before it was shifted to Hanoi) and take a
leisurely row-boat ride along a gentle stream in the midst of
countryside setting to visit 3 caves at Tam Coc. Overnight in Hanoi.

13 Dec
Travel to Halong Bay. When we arrive, board the overnight boat which
will bring us to explore caves, visit a floating fishing village and
cruise by many interestingly-shaped islands in the bay. Overnight on
the boat.

14 Dec
Wake up to the quiet surroundings of the beautiful bay. Cruise
further before we disembark at around 11am and make the return journey
back to Hanoi, reaching the city around 4pm. Overnight in Hanoi.

15 Dec
Free & easy until transfer to the airport for departure.

Heng arh i come back frm hanoi before it hit pinoyland...

Halong bay really very nice but then will be quite bored if stay overnight...
To me i still prefer saigon then hanoi...like food arh and night life...

As for,
Puppet show in hanoi cost 100k or 60k
Halong bay cost 700k(canoeing urself) or 400k(extra 120k/pax to get ppl to row the boat) for 1 day

Most foreigner stay near hoan kiem lake there. Lot of decent cheap hotel there, range around 20+ Sgd/night.
