Can just change at their airport. Difference not much anyway, at top ~15 SGD difference (I think).

All ASEAN countries can visit each other without Visa. Do make use of the ASEAN lane during immigration as well. Only Thailand would be an exception since there are tons of tourists there, so the ASEAN Lane is used as a normal lane.

went hcm 4 to 5 x so far
went there tis mar @ 56sgd jetstar two way nett sales ...

stayed at eden saigon @ 77.50sgd per nite with breakfast
having stayed at abt 7 or more hotels in hcm, think that is the best ...

normally would stay 3 stars hotels such as asian ruby ... abt 40+ per nite
as a whole, hcm hotels r cheaper than msia and bkk ...
so far all the hotels that I have stayed in, their wifi kinda good ...
most rooms have bath tub
size abt 25m2 ...
price abt 40+ for decent 3 stars hotel ...

Just get your VND in Vietnam. It is quite debased so money-changers outside of Vietnam seldom carry it. This in turn leads to poor rates of exchange.

Otherwise, if you want to go long on VND... lets say today's reuters interbank rate is 16500. U can secure the rate by buying USD in Singapore. That will ensure u a rate close to 16500 when u convert USD to VND in Vietnam.

Remember, the Ben Thanh goldshops love 50 and 100 usd notes. Likewise 50 and 100 SGD notes. If u bring any demonimations lesser than those, they give u a worse off rate.
