Normally within d1, the cab is abt 2 to 3+ sgd,
have taken from d1 to d3, is abt 6.50sgd

if you gona stay with a vietbu GF, this hotel is no longer girl-friendly.
kana charge USD15 for some crap excuse. Anyway I know the "culture", so just pay otherwise may force to book an extra room.

if you like fried lotus seed, this is buy-able inside Ben Thanh market
1kg should be S$30+ ... go around compare price first .

took SIA back in May. Around $270 .... delayed in booking else can get around $200. chose a sit in the middle column, and the whole row 4 seats only me ... very satisfy trip back on A330.

we took the bus from airport to D1 less than 45mins
return journey only 30mins during evening peak hour
very comfy got air con too

So cheap? SQ Flights to hanoi are usually 20-30% full and it is usually easy to redeem tickets on that route but it is very expensive if you pay for the ticket (around $650-700 return). Vietnam air costs about 40-50% less.

Recommend all good new hotel in hcm. only usd42 per night with free breakfast.
sg owner john live there with his vietnam wife. i just return to sg. so happy to stay there!! location 30min from airport, walking distance to vivo shopping mall and lotsa cafes nearby. use uber for taxi.

I only take vinasun cabs, if I need to. Got a bad experience with a green cab. Told him to bring me to a specific shopping centre, and he stopped at a fast food restaurant and said reached already. I ended up having to walk 20 min to the actual place. And he tried to eat my change too !I demanded it back !
Anyway, if you're at D1, might as well rent a motorbike. More freedom and fun to roam around. Cost only USD12 per day. Usually what I do is hook up my headset, put my phone in my pocket and let the voice Navigator led me to my destination.
