but i read that many youngsters been ditching Vietnamese in favour of english already

so i wonder if it's worth to pick up Vietnamese ...

Seriously i never learn here on xiaozen pro in viet language

The youngsters are already proficient in tieng viet. As long as they lived in vietnam, they will never give up using tv. Hence, i don't really understand what you mean by ditching vietnamese.

Learning English is simply to be able to compete. Vietnam is slowly opening up, and it make sense for the younger generation to learn English to have a better future. In fact, there are equal or more young vietnamese learning korean, japanese and french. There's a lot of youngsters obsessed with korean culture.

"ditching" i mean place more focus on other language like english.

i just happen to come across an article about young Vietnamese dislike their own language. can't remember the details but like what you said, without english they will not have a good future.

also when i ask my friend (with vietnamese wife) about learning vietnamese, we ask me why. he told me his kids spoke mostly english with their relatives in vietnam

anyway just my casual observation, i'm probably wrong :)

will be heading to HCM in august with group of 8. not my first time to HCM but it's the first time with so many people.

so i'm wondering if it will be btr to have a big service apartment or just 4 separate hotel rooms

Somerset service apartment got 3 bed room one i think...
