average 3* hotel in hcm nearby ben thanh market is around 40+ to 60+ per nite for two ... the better ones, with good breakfsat buffet , in my opinion are:
Le Duy, Elios, Vien Dong, Blue Diamond, Lan lan 1, lan lan 2, etc

Lavender seems not bad ...

Do note, hcm 3* hotel room normally lowest tier is about 18 to 24m2
however, in reality, you might be getting 14 to 18m2 ... tat is their common practice, to write their room size bigger ...

Just use your DBS/POSB internet banking, that's the cheapest way to send to Vietnam.

Let's say for $10,000: DBS/POSB fee is just $32.5 (telegraphic transfer + cable charges).
The same $10,000 will cost $99.01 via TransferWise, it's very expensive so I could not understand why TransferWise ever exists.

Our usual banks are the best.

i usually stay near the public bus terminal. quieter and less crowded. one private room with attached shower and queen sized bed for around $20. pm me if interested.

Tried Nikko Hotel buffet before already, their way of cooking lobster nt that nice imo, so thinking of trying other hotel buffet and wanna know if anyone try Caravelle Hotel buffet before.
