vietnam new year should be same same chinese new year date?

I think they follow Chinese culture, so during CNY many shops, restaurants and many others are close for many days.
I been HCM once during CNY, difficult to find nice restaurant to eat, in the evening all go to ben thanh market area for flower show and other show, there are tons of people there with many street stalls selling similar food.
Kind of boring :(

May I know which booth at the airport should I get my SIM card for data from?

I think any booth should be ok, been googling and it seems viettel is the recommended sim to get. Just make sure you don't get the call-only card but the one with data. Their unlimited data cost around 200k dong

Not really. The one beside the door is damn rude. most people go to the last booth on the left upon exit out the customs door.

There are spec shops around Benh Thanh. I know a spec shop in D1 along Nguyen Trai near the roundabout. They can do everything we can do here in singapore at a fraction of the price.

Own days, a pair of specs cost $175. Over there frame and lens will cost $80 if u choose good frames. Otherwise there are cheaper frames that add up to abt $35 sgd total only.

Haha, some people just want to go there to see closed shops....haha.
