thanks for letting me know. Just afraid that will incur large bills for roaming but I guess wont happen for TPG since every month need to top up $10 for the monthly bill.

Will be in Da Nang for a week, and its my 2nd trip there. Was there some years back. It is a resorty, beach kind of place where you can relax and sightsee with Hoi An and Hue the 2 Unesco places where you can visit. Not much shopping other than some local products. Food is quite good though and lots of cafes, similar to HCMC.
Can you help to check if the exchange rate at the Danang airport is good? I will be there in mid jun for 9 days and it’s a shopping trip.

Hmm now that you mention it, I added my credit cards for both Grab and Gojek in Singapore and used them both before. But when I was in VN, it seemed that the mode of payment switched to cash by default. But I never thought to add my credit cards or my Wise Card.
yup. same case as mine. In VN, only can use cash :(

As of now, pre-departure art result still needed by VN but I read news maybe might scrap soon. Nothing concrete yet though. (https://e.vnexpress.net/news/news/s...-flight-arrivals-health-ministry-4462743.html)

As for return to SG, don't need test. Just prepare your vaccination document when checking in for your return flight to SG and also submit your SG Arrival card at least 3 days before returning.

You can use klook for admission tickets, else Danang is quite small and take grab 45 mins can go anywhere, even Hoi an. Danang is city, not ancient city like hue or Hoi an, no need guide to explain things. In hue, get a guide for the tombs and imperial citadel. For attractions, check TripAdvisor or wiki travel

Nothing for inbound flight to Vietnam. On the return flight, they will check vaccination cert (I use notorise.gov.sg online copy) before they issue boarding pass to Singapore.

Then in Singapore, go 1 corner fill in some arrival form before scanning passport.
