Vietnam reputable gold shop rates can be betterHeading to Danang n Hoi An in late Nov. Is currency exchange rates better in SG or Vietnam? If at Vietnam, change at airport be fine?
For the first 5 to 7 days of CNY, Almost all the shops are closed, except for those which open for tourists, including tourist attractions.
sonce, mainly the tourist attractions are opened during CNY period, it will be swarmed by the locals as well, because they also have nothing much to do at home..... cuz its mainly, Eat, Drink, Gamble, Watch TV, Sleep, Bai Nian, Give Angbao, collect Angbao and repeat.
But its quite interesting to see and explore the empty streets of ho chi minh and Hanoi. free of cars, bikes and vehicles.
Goggle translate would be yr best friend. It served me well.for 7 days where can I go in Vietnam with local guide ? I don’t understand Vietnamese . I am thinking of Hanoi (including sapa) and Danang. I am not visiting hcm anymore.
No flood, weather was fine for the 2 days here, sunny yesterday n light rain occasionally day before, but next few days forecast rainy days.
Yes was up there yesterday, bad weather I head to Bana when it's cloudy, all the beauty of Bana is not visible. Driver mentioned that if u cannot see a clear Bana hill from Danang city, then view up there will not be good.Weather has been good in Danang so far. Bana hills is cold and foggy and crowded.
No need to fill in anything. Global warming is making the weather not so cold as expected. Coming back SG can fill up electronically. For those travelling to Vietnam or Danang airport before, is there a form we need to fill in first?
I was informed that Siam Commercial bank (SCB) & Tpbank is FOC, though not tried. I was there & tried few other ATMs & it stated between 1.5% to 3% bank charges & I did not proceed. Many Viet banks, SCB & Tpbank not that many, so need to google map to find. At Int arrival, duh have, a local told me to walk to next building, abt 5 mins away, did not manage to locate it at ground floor.Vietnam experts, can ask - which bank in Da Nang I can use to withdraw cash using YouTrip with the lowest atm fees? There're so many different banks idk what's the difference...
