quite expensive for Mar 2025 travel...am thinking of trying Vietnam Airlines instead of SQ....

to Vietnam, I have always been flying with VN Air... cuz usually SQ air tickets quite ex unless you wanna book SQ like months in advance.

Food presentation wise for VNAIR, you get food served to you in the old way and not in take-away cardboard meal boxes.

Recently VNAIR also moved from T4 to T3, so it makes sense to check-in early and head down to the T3 lounges and chill.

If you have Krisflyer Silver or Gold or PPS club membership, Vietnam Airline offer airline membership status matching for their own Lotusmiles for a small fee... which I personally feel that its WELL worth it especially going IN and OUT of Vietnam..

because the crowd at the immigration at Ho chi minh airport for both departure and arrival is CRAZY!!!! and if you have the Vietnam Airline Lotusmile membership (at least Gold), you can skip ALL that crowd and long Q... and proceed straight to the "Skypriority" Q section at the Immigration

You can look up Klook.

usually within hcm city itself… its either
1) Food tour
2) food tour + museum tour

but if you are willing to venture OUT of hcm city itself.. then you will have more options such as
1) Cu chi tunnel
2) Ben tre river tour/ My tho river tour
3) Suoi tien Theme Park / VinWonder theme park
4) Vung Tau/Ba ria beach

Woah today is super crowded in HCM airport. I buy fast track also took like 20mins. I think normal track don't have 2 hours don't need to clear ,the queue snake all the way back and queue move super slow. First time I use fast track luggage already out waiting for me

There is clearly vested interest to slow the processing so more tourists feel compelled to pay for the express line. Sounds like an official scam. I have not come across any other immigration gateway that does this.
