Is 4D3N sufficient?

if want to stretch to 5D4N, what other nearby place can I scope in?

Guess Danang is too far.

Ninh Binh day trip. Go do the Trang An boat trip. If you go the correct months, the scenary can be very beautiful. Nearby there is a big temple. Very peaceful place.

Hi, anyone managed to drive in Vietnam? If yes, what are the procedures to apply for a permit? Seems that it's not that easy to be able to drive there.

Looking to take a day trip from Hanoi to Ninh Binh in dec. Saw klook got some tours with mixture of places. Which should i take / worth to take?

Route 1 - Hoa Lu ancient capital, trang ah complex, hang mua dragon cave
Route 2 - Hoa Lu ancient capital, tam coc, hang mua dragon cave
Route 3 - Bai Dinh temple, trang ah complex, hang mua dragon cave

vietnam is not parking friendly, use Grab if in city area, between cities, either fly or transport (car/bus/train)

Hanoi is the base for travel to Sapa, ninh binh, halong
Danang is base for Hue, Hoi An
HCM is base to Vung Tau, Dalat, Nha trang, Can tho...maybe Phu Quoc mmm

3, amazing n biggest temple in vietnam. North viet, dec onwards best, coz its cold.

Exactly. Else figure out how the public buses work, or wait till the metro is ready, or walk everywhere. LOL

Don't drive in vietnam, too dangerous for sgkie drivers. U either kill some scooter drivers or get run down by big coaches.

There's no joy in driving in Vietnam. Narrow roads. Saturation of bikes everywhere in the towns and cities. Left-hand drive. It is worse than in China. A lot of trouble if you get into accidents. Leave it to the local professionals.

Been zipping around a lot with grab bike. Since I was single traveller. Trust the rider

Yeah, will hire a chauffeur. Also can't apply. One of the requirements to apply is that you need to be a resident (temp or permanent). Thanks
